On the Road

During the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, the Church celebrates two men specially chosen by Jesus for their important roles in the growth of the early Church. Jesus recognized Peter as a natural leader; he called him the rock on which the Church would be built. Paul grew in faith through a unique experience; his encounter with the Risen Lord changed his heart. Two men; many gifts; all used to serve Christ and his Church. Give thanks this week for your call from the Lord, your vocation to love and serve in his name.
