On the Road
As members of the Church, one of our responsibilities is to help carry out the mission of the Church to evangelize. This means that we need to share the teachings of the Church with others. We are to be like the two Emmaus disciples, with hearts burning to spread the Gospel.
Make an effort to welcome newcomers to your parish, look for ways to volunteer in service projects, get to know the R.C.I.A. catechumens and candidates, and joyfully participate in one of the liturgical ministries. Utilize your parish’s bulletin to become actively involved in the life of the Church. Be confident in sharing the Catholic faith with others, knowing that the Holy Spirit gifts you with grace and love.
