Time Well Spent (Week of July 1)
On the Road
A person's schedule is often filled with a week of meetings, early mornings, late evenings, and weekend events. The day becomes consumed by our responsibilities, often leaving little time for family and friends. Yet, these relationships are essential to our living. In these loving relationships, we can recognize God's Providence for us. Sharing meals together, talking and laughing with one another, and just being with one another is time well spent. Being with one another nurtures, energizes, and renews us. We need one another to help "get us through the day" and remind us of why and for whom we take on the business of life.
Encounter
"The value of life does not depend upon the place we occupy. It depends upon the way we occupy that place." Saint Thérèse of Lisieux "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God"”what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2
