For too many people, especially pastors and parish staff, Sunday is often not a day of rest but is the busiest day of the week. Although some of us may not rest on the Lord's Day, we all still need a weekly respite"”a full day away from the office and job responsibilities. Keeping this commitment requires effort and tenacity. Each of us can make a pledge to devote time to rest and rejuvenate. This "R&R" will help us continue to serve the Lord with enthusiasm and joy. h3. Encounter "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). "Our hearts are restless until they rest in you." (Saint Augustine) h3.
