On the Road
As the summer break comes to an end, you might be tempted to immediately dive right back into the daily grind of work. You might feel overwhelmed by all that lies ahead. Yet the renewal you gained during the summer break may quickly become extinguished if you do not take a moment to give thanks for this time spent with family and friends. Cherish those memories as moments when the goodness of God's love warmed your heart. Recalling how God's love touched your heart will help sustain you and keep you refreshed. Ask Jesus to reignite the fire of faith within each of us so that we are all able to share his Good News with others. h3. Encounter "Were not our hearts burning within us while he was talking to us on the road, while he was opening the scripture to us?" (Luke 24:32) "Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love." (Prayer to the Holy Spirit) h3.
