The Gift of Faith (Week of March 18)
On the Road
As we entered the Fifth Week of Lent, we listened to the Gospel story of the raising of Lazarus being proclaimed. This reading from the Gospel of John helps us to anticipate Jesus' Resurrection because of the power of God's love. We are called to believe in Jesus, to have faith in all that he is and has done, and to have hope in the promise of eternal life. During this week, let us reflect on the gift of faith and be inspired by the faith we see in those around us, especially the catechumens and candidates who we will soon welcome into our community.
