About Emmaus Moments

Like the disciples who encountered Jesus on the road to Emmaus, you will meet the Risen Lord in these weekly meditations. These meditation are designed to help you meet Jesus on your road of daily living. Each Monday—August through June—these spiritual postings will offer a three part reflection:

On the Road

This section focuses on the role and responsibilities you are challenged with according to a weekly theme.

Encounter

This section provides you insights from the sacred Deposit of the Faith. Quotations are taken from Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, formal Church documents, or famous sayings from a saint.

Go Forth

This section includes challenging reflection questions or compelling activities related to the weekly theme. These are designed to help you as a disciple on “The Way” to keep your heart “burning” for Christ and his Word.
